FAQs

Feel free to email us questions and we’ll provide answers here...

Q:  What does “paura” mean?
A:  Paura means “fear” in Italian. La Paura was the shooting title for Lucio Fulci’s City of the Living Dead, which just so happens to be Mike's favorite horror film of all time.

Q:  Why did you feel the need to form a company?

A:  Mike had the company name kicking around years before meeting Kit, and it obviously fit nicely given the line of work we happened upon.

Q:  How many trips did you guys make in total for the DVD bonus features on the Shriek Show discs?

A:  Kit made 12 trips and Mike made 11. We worked in Italy, Spain, France, England, California, and New Jersey.

Q:  How were you able to locate so many foreign actors who haven’t appeared in a film for many years?

A:  Kit is a research bloodhound, can speak multiple languages, and has an amazing memory. He also used to work as an actor in Italy so he knows his way around the agencies.

Q:  If you were asked to go on another trip to gather DVD extras, would you?
A:  There’s criteria that would have to be met – financial and otherwise – but we’re certainly open to offers.
